Therapy Works

Couples often come to therapy not because something is obviously “wrong,” but because they feel stuck, caught in patterns that repeat, conversations that don’t go anywhere, or a sense of disconnection that’s hard to fully explain.

In our work together, we focus on understanding these patterns and helping you shift them in a way that feels meaningful and lasting.

Couples therapy is a collaborative process designed to help both partners feel heard while also creating steady, measurable change. My work focuses on helping couples understand reoccurring patterns, reduce conflict, and strengthen their relationship.

I provide couples therapy grounded in the Gottman Method, a research-based approach that emphasizes effective communication, emotional connection, and concrete skills couples can use in daily life. Sessions are structured and goal-oriented, helping couples not only understand what’s happening in their relationship, but learn how to respond differently.

Issues Couples Commonly Seek Therapy For:

  • Communication and reoccurring conflict
  • Emotional distance or loss of connection
  • Trust issues and relationship repair
  • Life transitions (parenthood, illness, career changes)
  • Parenting-related stress
  • Pre-marital counseling and relationship preparation
  • Separation, discernment, or navigating major relationship decisions

My approach balances insight with practical tools, helping couples shift out of conflict and into a more connected and meaningful relationship.
